Palm Springs Destination Wedding

Elisa and Komron held a destination wedding in Palm Desert, California, that can only be described as glamorous, elegant and sparkly! Wedding planner Kelley Lee Gin mixed modern and feminine style to make the day really shine. On keeping with her vision, florist The Vines Leaf used gold and silver vessels to hold fluffy flowers, including antique hydrangeas, garden roses, ranunculus and anemones. The couple also set up a cigar and scotch lounge outside for the men! But our favorite part about this gorgeous wedding is that the couple included their dogs, Moose and Bailey, in the wedding ceremony—and brought out the most adorable puppies during cocktail hour for guests to play with! Ashley Rose Photography snapped pictures of all the snuggle-worthy pups—and all the perfect details—for us to enjoy!Elegant Black Wedding Party Outfits 1 Palm Springs Destination Wedding

Kirstie Kelly Couture

Last week we went to visit the beautiful showroom of Kirstie Kelly with Kristen Maple of Chris and Kristen Fine Art Photogarphy to choose some of her amazing dresses to showcase for an upcoming shoot that we are planning at Cal-a-Vie (the venue itself deserves a whole other post all to itself!) Kirstie’s gowns are so beautiful, classic and elegant…I was wishing that it was my turn to get married again! They showed us all around and told us all about their gorgeous dresses…the most amazing thing is that they can totally customize each dress to be exactly what you are looking for by changing little things here and there to be just perfect for each individual bride.  They have a beautiful collection of Bridesmaids dresses as well, that again, are totally customizable and come with a full service assistant (the amazing Sarah) who will organize and communicate all of the details with your lovely Bridesmaids, totally taking the stress of off the Bride.  If you are a Bride looking for a full service PHENOMENAL  experience, you must pay this place a visit!

What a FUN wedding this one was with the incredibly talented wedding designer, Lindye Galloway!! The wedding was actually on Cinco De Mayo so there was a lot of Mexican Infused design throughout the wedding.  Lindye created a custom tile runner for the aisle that was decopaged with Papel Picado…amaze.  She also created the custom backdrop fit with Papel Picado Chandeliers and streaming ribbons.  We brought everything to life with TONS of coral peonies, peach garden roses and the sweetest little sweet peas, all within or on bright white vessels for a bright and modern feel.  The Bride’s Bouquet was the most simple and gorgeous mix of white peonies and astilbe, while the Bridesmaids has bouquets of coral peonies, roses, sweet peas and astilbe. Enjoy!

Rancho Las Lomas New Year’s Eve Wedding

Where do I even begin?! WOW! This was definitely a wedding for the books, for so many reasons.  Monika and Steve were one of the couples that you look at and you can honestly and truly feel the love that is shared between them.  Monika has such a warm and loving spirit to her and you can feel that she has a desire to live life to it’s absolute fullest, love as much as she possibly can and most of all you can tell that she has a desire to never stop growing in herself or her relationships.  Throughout the process of the wedding planning, we never talked about these things, but you just knew they were there, it was a feeling of sincerity and that she had such a deep and loving heart.  When she would see you, she would Thank You and tell you how happy she was that you were there in this experience with her, and you could TELL she truly truly meant it because she followed it up with the warmest hug! Monika has truly inspired me as a person and I am grateful for that. Congratulations to Monika and Steve, you have a BEAUTIFUL life ahead of you!

How gorgeous is this custom ribbon that Monika had made?! Each Bridesmaid had a different line from 1 Corinthians that we hand tied around their bouquets of white anemones, garden roses, ranunculus and of course that beautiful and wintery dusty miller.

Monika’s Bouquet was made of a feminine and wintery mix of garden roses, ranunculus, white anemones, brunia berries, and dusty miller that we hand tied in a beautifully pleated ribbon wrap and her custom linen ribbon that read “I Z Wed 12.31.12″  The Z is for her Husbands last name Zeldin…so sweet!!

The Ceremony was only lit by Bistro lights and candlelit which made for the warmest kind of light.  It was gorgeous. Stunning.  In the center of the U-shaped Ceremony was the softly lit Chuppah that was very simple decorated with branches, hanging candles and simple blooms.  This just might be one of my favorites!

The centerpieces were a wonderfully eclectic mix of vintage metals, mercury glass, and vintage crystal vessels.  Some were filled with wintery white blooms with deep purple accents and some were filled with hand dipped gold dusted fruits…AMAZE! In between the arrangements there were pockets of driftwood with tufts of wintery white flowers and vintage gold votives nestled in.

Behind the Bride and the Groom, Lindsay from LVL Weddings and Events placed the Found Vintage mantle piece that we adorned with driftwood arrangements and candlelight.

{The Montage Wedding, Laguna Beach}

Today we have a little bit of fantastic-ness to share with you in this art-filled wedding that we collaborated on with Lindye Galloway Events and Mark Brooke Photographers.  Jen and Matt’s late summer wedding was held at The Montage in Laguna Beach, one of the most classic and elegant beach Venues our Southern California Coast has to offer.  The details here are awesome…Seriously, working with a fab group of artists on a wedding makes my day…no wait, makes my year! I love it when we get to collaborate with someone who has a vision and then let’s us run wild with our ideas…Jen did just THAT! She was such a fun and easygoing bride that had her own personal style and flare to her…Lindye and I took her personality and applied it to her wedding to make it unique, romantic, and artsy, with a touch of vintage modern elements.  Mark Brooke Photographers did a FANTASTIC job at capturing the feel of the day, I love the colors in the photos, the soft tones that they incorporated, seriously gorgeous. I love it…I love it all. So without further adieu…the beautiful evidence of this outrageously fun event!

Loving the mix of textures and colors that she had for the Bridesmaid’s dresses…paired with their warm ivory Bridesmaids Bouquets filled with white astilbe,  white lisianthus, vendela roses, dusty miller and gold-leafed foliage!

My personal favorite blooms and color scheme of the year…Cafe Au’Lait Dahlias, peach garden roses, maidenhair ferns and dusty miller…love the soft palette. All held in a perfectly stained wood box to coordinate beautifully with the Market Table Runners.

How awesome is this vintage silverware Kraft Paper runner?

 {The Montage Wedding, Laguna Beach}

This was honestly one of Lindye’s shining moments as a designer, she created a HUGE wall of beautifully folded and painted music pages and suspended them behind the Band.  An amazing backdrop, so simple and beautiful…I’m sure it only took a few short hours to create…;)

Thank you to Lindye Galloway and Mark Brooke Photographers for helping to create and capture all of this gorgeousness for Jen and Matt…Congratulations!!
