With the recent announcement that 50 Shades of Grey is turning into a movie, we decided to blog about how we felt after reading the trilogy! SPOILERS AHEAD: Don’t read ahead if you haven’t finished the trilogy!
“They have the tent set up again and beautifully decorated in pale pink, silver, and ivory with its sides open, facing the bay.” After reading the third and final book in the Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy, Fifty Shades Freed, I was bummed that Christian and Ana’s wedding wasn’t written as detailed as I wanted it to be. We all waited for it to happen and E. L. James gave us less than 3 pages to picture it in our heads! With the little details given, my mind soared with possibilities of what their wedding could have looked like.
Of course we’d use our own Vintage Metals and Mercury Glass to incorporate the silver into their overall design. Photos by Chris+Jenn Photos
In our bundle, we incorporated a lot of pale pinks. Using chiffon and lace we wanted to see their wedding seem effortless and timeless, something that flowed beautifully and looked simple– something easy, unlike the beginning stages of their relationship! We even incorporated some nautical signage to symbolize the boathouse proposal and Christian’s passion for sailing.
